Cigars, Cognac & Couture

Last Wednesday, Blueprint for Style ventured into a new “lane” and hosted a Cigars, Cognac & Couture event to kickoff the 40th Annual Legislative Conference for the Congressional Black Caucus at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse.  The evening started out with a Cohiba cigar and scotch tasting of Glenlivet then proceeded to a fabulous sit-down dinner and great conversation.  After dinner, we had an education on Martell‘s Cordon Bleu cognac and followed that with more Cohibas cigar courtesy of The General Cigar Company.

Just a Big Mess…

Unlike the Exxon Valdez tragedy, in which a tanker held a finite capacity of oil, the BP rig is tapped into an underwater oil well and could pump more oil into the ocean indefinitely until the leak is plugged…. We’re 51 days in (April 20, 2010)….and no resolution yet.  Blueprint for Style is dedicated to philanthropic efforts — including helping to clean up other people’s messes.  We’ve chosen to promote this tee which reads, “So Long and Thanks for all the Crude“.
