Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen was spot on with her Spring 2012 RTW collection. I don’t know how it will translate from runway to everyday, but I suspect that it will be all about ruffles, feminine and sculpted lines, and a touch of underwater/aquatic fantasy (less the headgear and sheer material). Look at the pieces and pictures for inspiration — they show how beautifully embellishments and a cinched waist can accent the female shape!
