Any college girl heading back to school likely finds it a bit difficult to keep her wardrobe fresh and on-trend without blowing her book money….but Kmart and Sears are excellent options to help her make affordable fashion statements! Here they took one dress and did it up four different ways….. Which is your favorite? The “chic” look is my fave…plus a colorful belt! Kmart – Keep it Comin’

I don’t think I’ll ever fully subscribe to Kmart as my ‘go to’ place to shop, but my recent purchases (as part of the Lucky Magazine Alpha Shopper program), but they have earned the right to get a little more attention. I have now road tested all of my items and, unequivocally, they all held up and I got compliments. The key to these pieces will be mixing high-end with these bargain items, and knowing which items to scoop. Steer clear

Kmart….Quality? Rocker Chic!

So the biggest question I am getting right now is whether or not the “quality” of my Kmart pieces is up to snuff…..and the answer is kinda. Is it the same quality as the cute dress by L.A.M.B. I scoop from Saks or the Bensoni skirt I picked up at Gilt Groupe – no, but it’s on par with the items I’d scoop from H&M or Target and that’s what makes it a winner! Set your expectations right, and then walk
