You can try that with some 5-inch stilettos but, I guarantee that you'll pay for it the next day. Or you can opt to party like a rockstar for the first few hours in your stilettos (need to make a good impression with his relatives or co-workers) and then politely switch to something more comfortable....no. not yucky flats or house slippers!!
I'm talking about a pair of cutsy ballet footies courtesy of Yosi Samra. I like the Yosi Samra flat because, at $50, it's much less expensive than most of the other ballet slippers I've seen, the color section is vast (bronze leather, black, brown, grey and purple suede, rose gold, gold and silver leather), the grosgrain ribbon around the inside is a wonderful touch, and they double as my move-through-security-ultra-fast shoes during the Holidays when the airprort is nothin' nice!
I am kinda soft on the silver leather pair but could definitely go places in the purple suede too!
