As a Lucky Magazine Alpha Shopper, I often receive emails followed by fabulous gifts at my door…and three days ago was no different! I received the opportunity to “purchase” a piece or two from Lands’ End Canvas, the new casual clothing line for men and women by, of course, Lands’ End.
I didn’t search long — I immediately found two pieces that I had to have….the sideways cable cardigan ($79.50) and poplin workshirt ($44.50). I grabbed them both in deep blue, paired it with my cute colorful blue scarf (compliments of H&M) and a pair of skinny jeans, and i was ready to rock! The sweater is adorable: it’s secured only by an oversized safety pin which allows you to quickly adjust the fit, but still provides ample room at the hem; and the three-quarter sleeve is cool because it allows you to show a splash of color or, in my case, continuous color. The poplin shirt feels soft to the top, but looks like it will get better with more wear and over time; and I love the white contrast buttons to give it a bit of a nautical feel.
