Interior Design & Style Intertwined

{from Rashon Carraway}

Although I am by no means into interior design right now, but do imagine I’ll be heading down that pathway. It is so inextricably intertwined with style ~ the colors, the use of texture, compliments, shading, patterns, layering, etc. I saw this picture in a blog called for the love of design and then traced it back to Rashon Carraway of Mr. Goodwill Hunting. I was instantly drawn to the clear charger with gold trim, the black & gold color combination, and how beautifully finished and symmetrical it was.

Fate was working ovetime because I then happened upon this cool Oasis sequin tank and thought to myself, “could I really wear this out…I mean to an everyday affair or the likes?” If I’m asking it then someone must want to know as well ~ is all that glitters gold & can you rock sequins during the day? I believe so and here’s how I prove it:

  • keep all other embellishments to a minimum
  • provide some form of coverage for the sequins/glitter ~ the blazer allows the tank to peek through the bottom
  • keep additional skin exposureto a minimum ~ pants/capris/long skirt will keep this a daytime look
