A question everyone seems to ask me as a stylist is, “How can I do casual better?” The answer lies in nailing three things:
- fit ~ nothing slouchy or oversized
- material ~ All-American denim (but it’s dark) and leather
- pop of color ~ {in another pic} she adds a touch of color
I happened upon this picture of Emmanuelle Alt, French Vogue‘s Editor-in-Chief and it was a great glimpse at easy, effortless chic. Everything she’s wearing fits, she opts for dark denim (you don’t have to roll yours up unless you’re on the taller side) and a leather blazer, and pointy toe heels (feel free to grab a pair of pointy toe flats). Finish the look with a touch of color ~ like a colorful clutch.
