Using My Birthday Gift For The Holidays

Y’all know I got a crock pot (aka slow cooker) for my birthday right? My sister got me a fancy one from Cuisinart and I’ve been doing “lazy cooking” now for almost two full months. Travel Too….Vietnam: Let’s Talk Fa-la-la-la-la Vietnamese Pho

A Lesson in Whiskey

I don’t know a thing about whiskey….but it’s stylish (& a bit sexy) to be able to order it right! All bourbons, scotches and ryes are whiskey Not all whiskeys are bourbon, scotch or rye Bourbon is corn-based Scotch is made from barley and hops Rye is made from rye (duh!) In a pinch, ordering “bourbon from Kentucky” will work since it can be used in most whiskey drinks Here’s more from Marie Claire…

Look For Looser Clothes To Fit Your Mac N’ Cheese

This has very little to do with style….other than I consider myself to be stylish and I love macaroni and cheese! I found an article in Conde Nast about the best mac n’ cheese dishes and had to share with you {who likes getting fat alone?}. Funny thing is – I’ve tried the DC and San Francisco spots and I loved the Mission Cheese dish….still not sure how CapMac made the list. Check out the other locations (here) and report
