I’m in love with this picture ~ and just know that you’ll see it again because it’s the epitome of relaxed style that isn’t overly stuffy or too young. Just awesome! A few key takeaways from the photo: Note where the blazer shoulder ends… In all three examples, we’re talking two-button suits In all three examples, the top button is buttoned and the bottom is not Note where the blazer sleeve ends… The two gentlemen with no tie have created
#NYFW is here…but who cares? Anybody obsessed with fashion…. Anybody with cash to blow…. Anybody who wants to know what will be in the stores months from now (and act clarivoyant when you see it) If you’re a model….. If you’re a blogger who has avid fashion voyeurs as readers And likely a few others. Tracy Reese never disappoints and this collection is no different. Style Notes: the collection was based in black but piled loads of vibrant colors like orange, teal and goldtones; the silhouettes were feminine but not overly fitted although the hemlines were a littel shorter than other collections; prints and textur variations throughout made this fabulous Runway to Walkway: just about every piece could walk off the runway and into the everyday diva’s closet without much fuss (except perhaps the price);

It’s a bit of an oxymoron right, but there’s so much to do without ever hitting a show (believe me I know). Here are my top to-do’s to enjoy Fashion Week without ever going (or being invited) to a runway show: Fashion’s Night Out: I’m not a personal fan because of all the madness, but if you participate you’ll think you’re int he middle of everything! Department Stores: the majors like Bergdorf Goodman, Saks and Barneys will be showing a
Inspired by ‘60s model Jean Shrimpton, Christopher Bailey departed from his edgy rock and roll streak in favor of a mod, sophisticated, military-esque collection that marked a lively return to color, shape, and volume. Clearly keeping his customers in mind of the brutal winters ahead, Bailey had a heavy focus on outerwear: sculptured coats – both cropped and traditional – displayed flowy, flared sleeves, bold toggles, and slouchy black pleats. Pieces in a beautiful color palette of kiwi, olive
