Derek Lam Is A Fibber!

Derek Lam has said he’d never do a collaboration unless it was “something new” which led to his experimental Derek Lam for eBay project last winter. Well, Derek Lam for Kohl’s DesigNation is on the horizon. It’s a line filled with swimwear and women’s apparel and priced between $36 and $98. Designer Collab: Manolo Blahnik & J Crew

The designer collaboration between Manolo Blahnik and J Crew is…and it isn’t. The collab was leaked during #NYFW at J Crew’s show, but a report immediately following quoted Blahnik as saying, “…I had no idea about it!” But WWD reports that, indeed, the capsule collection will be released online and at select J Crew stores under the Blahnik name….but at Blahnik prices (pricing to hover around $600 per pair). Alberta Ferreti For Macy’s Impulse

Macy‘s tapped Italian designer Alberta Ferreti to create a new 30-piece collection of Macy’s Impulse line targeted at “women 26 to 29” which means I won’t be buying this collection ~{I’ll just stick with Doo Ri’s capsule collection that releases on February 15th}. This collection which debuts on April 17th will be typical Alberta Ferreti with feminine dresses, peasant blouses, chiffon and, voile.
