Tackle Hair Loss & Gain Style

Part of my beauty routine revealed….

For most women, hair is their ‘crowning glory’ and their pride and joy but, for some women it can be a source of angst and frustration – and not just on ‘bad hair days’! I am not experiencing hair loss but I did go through a period many years ago when my hair was coming out and thinning. For me, it was huge because while my hair length was never my crowning glory, my hair thickness and ability to style it was my joy!

I got a chance to do a Q&A with celebrity hairstylist Jill Crosby because as a spokesperson for Women’s ROGAINE® and a hairstylist, she’s uniquely equipped to share a little sumthin’ with us! While she’s a proponent of skin protection – her one must-have accessory on a deserted island is an SPF75 sunscreen onesie….. – I wanted to get her take on ‘day at the beach’ essentials related to hair because we’re all trying to worship at the altar of the sun this summer!! She lives at the beach so I loved that her essentials included a sun hat or hair products with sunscreen + coconut oil for after-sun hydration!!

My hair routine for a sunny day includes not only the sun hat and SPF (I favor Maui Babe) but some post-sun hair love using Sensai hair mask.

To address hair loss or thinning or any ‘beauty concern’, the solution needs to be simple, quick and effective. In this instance, you can use half a capful daily to nix your hair loss issue which makes this a winner!

I urge you to check out the Women’s ROGAINE® website: great information and, better than anything else for me, success stories from real women who have been there!

If you’re experiencing hair loss or thinning, and you want to give it a try, check out the website and snag a coupon in the process. What I’m really talking about here is your ability to feel better about the way you look…and then we can start to focus on the fun stuff (clothes!).

  1. I’ve never experienced hair loss before, but it’s something my boyfriend has had issues with (and at such a young age). Though this post is for women, I think some men could also benefit from it – men want to gain style and feel good about the way they look too. Though it’s great to see there is something out there for women and that they aren’t alone in their struggle.

  2. I hear you and I think that, for some reason, it’s more of a stigma for women. I think of it like that “grey hair” syndrome and men being distinguished while women just look old!
