I rarely (if ever) show luxe & less but this one just popped out and I had to share! Perhaps because I had been waiting patiently for this J.Crew fluted surf skirt to go on sale ~ it’s the perfect mix of casual and informal business. The cotton/poly bonded jersey reads casual with an oversize button down and sneakers but does an immediate change-up with a fitted blazer and heels.
I saw and fell in love.
The dark charcoal would be my pick because it goes with blacks, camels, and blues……(alas, that is the color that is out of stock).
Then I’m scanning an issue of Harper’s Bazaar (my favorite magazine) and happen upon this cute a-line wool skirt. The lines are similar albiet less pronounced. This one is by Carven and available in black and grey for a mere $370.
