As a Lucky Magazine Alpha Shopper, I've been invited to attend their second annual Fashion & Beauty Bloggers Conference (FABB) today. The lineup is packed: the Kardashians, Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy, Rebecca Minkoff, Essie Weingarten (think Essie nail polish), Ben Silbermann (think Pinterest) and the hit parade continues! So why am I going? As a fashion blogger (among many other hats I wear), it's great chance to network with other influential bloggers about what's hot and what's not, what things we should be thinking about in the upcoming year, and who are the brands and folks that want to work with bloggers. Plus it's a new, kinda informal kickoff for Fashion Week....just a lil bit of last minute rabble-rousing to get ready for the next seven days!
I'm psyched! I'll also get to catch up with old friends, meet a few new ones, and get an awesome 'treat bag' that is packed full of great stuff! Look for tweets all day (#LuckyFABB) and live streaming. Oh yeah -- I'll do a debrief after the dust settles so you know what happened to who when and where!!
