How to Wear Sequin Pants

Girl wearing sequin pants

Let’s get something straight—how to wear sequin pants isn’t just for the ultra-glam. Done right, they’re a bold, elevated way to make holiday style feel effortless and impactful. As DC’s top wardrobe stylist and a trusted personal stylist for professionals, I guide clients on how to wear sequin pants with confidence, pairing them with sleek basics and sophisticated layers. Whether it’s the office party or an upscale dinner, how to wear sequin pants is all about balance, not boldness for boldness’ sake.

What signals fun and festive more than a pair of sequin pants?!

Especially during the holiday season, we should all be looking for ways to add a little ‘festivity’ to our everyday looks. Sequins and metallics are an easy way to level up your everyday during the holiday season.

The ones pictured above are from many seasons ago but the style still exists. The sequin palazzo pants are available in wine or black sequins (I would favor the wine color!). And if pants are not your thing, then let me share a few other options to consider to add a touch of festiveness to your every day holiday dressing:

  1. Silver sequin midi skirt
  2. Sequin fringed mini dress
  3. Sequin mini skirt in midnight blue
  4. Sequin capri leggings (I’m actually kinda interested in trying these out)
  5. Sequin and fringe bustier
  6. Sequin high-rise wide leg pants by Simon Miller (fire!)

Alright – check these options out to get you started… and share if you find something great!! Our tip is to go fairly inexpensive because the sequins are bound to come off and you’re not rocking them everyday!
