I can read of course, but the reading I want to do for 2015 will be more intentional I have my first five books already (see below) which are unfortunately left from this past year.
I’m starting with….
1) HRC by my good friend Amie Parnes ~ this could be Hilary’s year….
2) Deluxe by Dana Thomas ~ a bit of a re-read but so essential to understanding the history of fashion and its houses
3) In My Shoes by Tamara Mellon ~ she signed this during the last Lucky Magazine conference and I have yet to dig in
4) Things I Should Have Told My Daughter by Pearl Cleage ~ I got this signed by her during a visit in early 2014 and still haven’t read it yet….
5) The Towering World of Jimmy Choo by Lauren Goldstein Crowe~not sure how long I’ve had it but it’s time
I have a few more I’ve been hearing about including one by Bette Halbreich the most famous personal shopper of Bergdorf Goodman ~ it’s called I’ll Drink To That and The Woman I Wanted To Be by Diane von Furstenburg.
