A Few Swimsuit Solutions

The season is upon us and in order to take full advantage of it and still be stylish, here are a few tips for those who think they make have a few problem areas:

  • Plus size – you are just as beautiful as the rest so, emphasize the positives by looking for one piece suits that have ruching or draping; stick with dark colors as they are more slimming; and a deep v-neck creates a focal point and keeps it light
  • Big chestsupport like a built-in underwire is a must; empire waist makes a bust look smaller…look at Aerin Rose
  • Long & lean – stay away from string bikinis because they make you look thinner; create curves by opting for a one-piece that has diagonal ruffles
  • Too much tummycolorblocking has darker parts over your stomach and lighter areas elsewhere; stay away from a tankini because the top hits at the wrong spot
  • Plentiful pear-shapestay away from skirts because the emphasize your hips; create balance by drawing attention to the upper body; try embellishments, ruching or ruffles!
  • Small bust – create bust by using soft molded cups; opt for a halter neckline which emphasizes shoulders

Go forth, be stylish and confident, and look haute in the summer heat!!
