6 Things We Want To Share This Week

{photo from Style.com}
  1. We’re in the countdown phase of Blueprint for Style‘s facelift & Botox ~ only 7 days left!
  2. The first African-American supermodel was Beverly Johnson who graced the cover of Vogue in 1974 with the stylistically chic black-and-white by photographer Francesco Scavullo. She is a face that made history and trailblazed for the divas of today – thank you Beverly!
  3. David Beckham bodywear launching at H&M on February 2, 2012 worldwide. The nine piece collection will launch in all 1800 stores (that’s 40 countries…!). “This partnership with H&M is an important step in the evolution of David’s journey from sporting hero to entrepreneur and icon”, says Simon Fuller, David Beckham’s long time business partner.
  4. A bit of fun ~ how well do you know your celebrity style? Take this quick 5-question quiz to see if you’re up on your celeb style inspirations! {I’m clearly not up on the know because I scored a 3 out of 5}
  5. Color inspiration ~ we often step away when we see lots of color together…likely because it can be unsettling but this mirrored cherry blossom dress ($72) doubles as a tunic with black leggings on Saturdays, or an evening dinner with more opaque tights and black wedge heels. It’s the splash of color we could all use right now…very Fall 2011
  6. Tomorrow we’ll be discussing the ins-and-outs of interview etiquette and dressing ~ thanks to BeKnown (a professional networking app for Facebook. BeKnown allows you to set up a professional profile directly on Facebook that is completely separate from your personal Facebook page.)
