my #quarantine routine

I am quarantining in Washington, DC and it’s been a mixed bag so far. Pre-Quarantine Normally, my day would start around 7am sans an alarm clock and I would spend a couple of minutes praying and meditating, and then hit my iPhone hard (because it sleeps next to me). an essential fall wardrobe, fishbone blazer

I have been fighting sanity while on lockdown and part of that is done by patiently watching the sales and retailers for the items I’ve been wanting….and then BOOM! This Anine Bing fishbone blazer was 25% off and I grabbed it! It’s weighty so I cannot wear it now but, the colors (black + cream) make it perfection with just about any outfit especially all of my denim (I scored from Frame) and tees – can you envision a more perfect

new havaianas sandals for summer

Flip flops are the telltale sign of summer so when I saw these new Havaianas you saint tropez sandals, they sparked joy in my heart!! I stepped away from the overcast Saturday weather and though of using my deck in the backyard on a sunny, #socialdistancing day and these flip flops would be perfect. I ended up scooping these steel blue ones and then these mustard pair too! Which ones are you digging on?!?!?

weighty blazer for early spring + fall

Most of the blazers I get are lighter or at least medium weight so they work year-round but this one by Anine Bing is not. It’s a slightly heavier material + has a tailored menswear-inspired, somewhat oversized fit = perfection for fall, travel, and early spring. The one pictured above is the black + cream version, and I scooped the black and white version here. I’m digging it thus far although I haven’t had a chance to really rock it since

no brainer classic ankle pants

They are moisture wicking, water repellant, and 3x dry fabric. And right now they’re under $60 – and go up to size 12 so it was a no-brainer!! I sccoped them in the petrified oak color so they could work for spring and fall when I need to go from casual living to impromptu business meeting…. WINNING again!!
