While these collaborations aren’t due into Target stores until Sunday, April 18th, some stores appear to have jumped the gun. But that’s not important nor is the point of this post — more importantly, these collabs mark two more notches in Target’s belt and pursuit to bring high-end fashion with low-end pricing.
- Cynthia Vincent: she is the designer behind Twelfth Street (2003). While Cynthia started designing clothes that became staples for the Ashley twins and the likes, she began designing shoes and recntly launched handbags as well. Target will feature her shoes…. look for gladiators and multi-colored wedges and reasonable price points.
- Eugenia Kim: trained at the Parsons School of Design, hers is a quirky story of ingenuity and raw talent. Long story short, her hats are everywhere from Barneys New York to Saks Fifth Avenue to Bloomingdale’s. Her hats are typically around $200 and while the styles may not be particularly creative, the styling is whimsical and very wearable….. look for fabulous fedoras under $20!
