While I’m not super religious, I do claim to believe in God and all that comes with 30+ years of going to church every Sunday….so naturally, the question popped into my head about the ‘reason for the season’ and, in some ways, I wonder if the reason for the season is in conflict with my very reason for working!
As an Image Consultant, Personal Stylist and Fashion Blogger, I can see how one might very quickly look at me sideways when I say, “The season should not be about what you get or the clothes you receive on sale but, what you give.“…almost blasphemy, right? But in all seriousness, the thought I want to chew on is, “Christmas is about the birth of Christ [whether you believe in it or not, if you take advantage of people’s good will or retailers Holiday madness then you’re in] so when was the last time you got mad about not getting a gift on someone else’s birthday?!”
Just some food for thought….enjoy all of the cheer, goodwill, laughter, steals & deals, bits and bots, and general air of positivity that comes from this time of year.
Happy Holidays!

Girl, I hear you on that one! The real question is what are we giving the birthday boy?
