It turns out that some fashion-forward retailers have invested lots of dollars and time to discover how men shop. Men prefer masculine spaces without any female accoutrements. Surroundings of old leather chairs is a no-brainer. Men gravitate toward staple colors like black and mahogany, but will go as far as cranberry and chambray.
Wah-lah….J Crew open a men’s boutique in Manhattan in 2008 and it has been hugely popular. In May, Coach opened a boutique for gents on Manhattan’s Bleecker Street. Who’s next?
Question: Men are retailers right to create stores just for you?
