Good D.C. Eats

If you’re ever in D.C. and want to get a glimpse of where the deals are made (outside the White House), check out any of these “power spots”….

Breakfast: Blue Duck Tavern (24 & M Sts NW) ~ be prepared to spend around $25+ and don’t leave without trying the wood-fired pecan sticky buns
Lunch: The Monocle (107 D St NE) ~ you’re going to spedn $55+ for a dry lunch and upwards of $65 with soemthing to wet your palate; it’s an American steak house so plan accordingly
Nightcap: Columbia Room (1021 7th St NW) ~ it’s a reservation-only lounge and the drink tasting menu is $69 per person; the drinks are amazing [I’ve been several times] and worth the spend!

Other great elite meet & eat spots include: Equinox, Plume, Cowgirl Creamery and Fresh Farm Markets for local produce

In all cases, the style notes say you should dress like you’re going to meet someone that you want to make a positive impression on…plan accordingly!
