Canon PowerShot G1X

I’m determined to get better acquainted with my gifted Canon PowerShot G1X in 2015. It’s got an “auto” mode which is where I’ll start…..

I’ve been hoping for a more sophisticated camera when I should have focused on what I had and been thankful for that. I needed a reminder and I got it as I was fishing around my creative space (aka office) doing purging, repurposing and organizing.

Let’s see what I can make of it…and then maybe something else will come. Here’s my very first shot ~ I wanted it to be something pretty and forward-thinking. I’ve spent the last 24 hours trying to get better prepared and it started in part when I received my #powersheets from @LaraCaseyShop and @BeBlogalicious as a gift.

There’s technically nothing special about a new year and mine truly begins in October but I’m going to use the pretty paper I’ve been given and see what I can make of it.
