While I love my large/oversized weekend bags, I find there’s some freedom in just having the essentials. While Chiara Totire rocks a small chained pouch, I found an equally shiny bauble at Etienne Aigner. This shiny, metallic pouch has space enough to carry the essentials but still provide minimal style. Even Harper’s Bazaar featured it….

Roadtrip Part 3: Headed to Duck, NC for #SoulRetreat

Duck, NC worked wonders! In spite of a 4 hour, 30 minute trip there (back was grueling since it started to snow……), I returned home relaxed and in a better #headspace. While I had originally planned to go as a way to rack up miles on the Toyota Highlander and do some work, it turned out to be the perfect opportunity to be open and receptive to what was to come and how to prepare for it. Add this to

Taking Stylish NOTES in 2016

I was sitting at a meeting a couple of weeks ago and one of my fellow JLWers sits down and slaps this gorgeous NOTES journal on the table. I politely waited until after the meeting to inquire (via email) and she responded that she had found it ‘out and about’. I set out to find it, secure it, and then….share the joy! Here’s the skinny: it’s by Eccolo Ltd (a family-owned business based in Brooklyn, NY) 8 x 10 inches

Roadtrip Part 2: To Road Trip or Not?

The moms of Jack & Jill’s Burlington Willingboro, NJ Chapter were sponsoring an event for disadvantaged women in the area. Speakers shared insight on financial management, managing stress, exercise essentials and, of course, dressing for success. My cold early morning departure was made a little

Rockin’ A Camry For The Holidays

I was determined to keep this holiday season low-key and relaxed, and it was going to start with a leisurely drive to my sister and brother-in-law’s house in Connecticut. I planned to leave in mid-December (one of the benefits of being an entrepreneur!) and stop in New York City to do a touch of shopping and sightseeing. Accomplished! With the help of Toyota by lending me a late model 2016 Camry XSE, I rocked my way to New York City
