We all need a coat for winter (unless you reside in Florida or Arizona). Technically your coat from last year should work just fine but if you want to be on-trend, then go for outerwear that offers a bit of embellishment that may be slightly more than you want for a daytime look, or an asymmetrical hemline. What I love and hate about this trend: (+) The coat would work for your evening affairs as well given it’s slightly dressier
