Turn Spring Dresses into Transition Dresses

It’s easy — I’ve done it on several occasions especially with my babydoll dresses (see pic) by either throwing a turtleneck or long sleeve top underneath, adding an oversized wide belt, and, depending on the temp, perhaps a little leather to add some toughness to the feminine look.

Here are a few feminine pieces that will go easily from today with a little layering to spring with a little shedding of the same gear.  You can spend a tad bit more since you’ll get more mileage out of your items; and opt for a few more colorful pieces so you can welcome spring as soon as possible!

Here you can throw a long sleeve white top underneath with a cognac belt and booties…

Choose a colorful top to wear over the dress with a wide black belt and given the length of the dress, grab a pair of high heel boots or wedges….you are instantly model chic!
