This group (among others) has done a few stints at NYFW, so here's what they have going on this year!
- Alex Casertano: designed for Yigal Azrouel menswear and J. Crew before launching his own womenswear.....which will be "something very American and very soulful."
- Wes Gordon: did internships with Tom Ford and Oscar de la Renta....so it's "Amazing metallic tweeds and beautiful cashmere treated with beading and handpainting."
- Whit: started with Kate Spade so sher knows preppy but Pozgay's combo of preppy and mod is her style....."I'm loving the idea of a young girl raiding her grandmother's closet - sort of Tavi-meets-Grey Gardens."
- Jonathan Simkhai: his style is "boy borrowed" basics with a funky mix of 50s housewife and shrunken menswear.....his work can be seen at Intermix.
- Yuna Yang: having designed for Alviero Martini and Ann Sofie Beck, she's total fem in her styling....this South Korean designer has a proclivity for meticulous, delicate details.
